A strikingly beautiful golf course in the middle of an incredible environment of forests and mountains, near the wine cellars of one of the world’s finest wine-producing areas: La Rioja. Suitable for any type of handicap. Great scenery and a great course. Designed by Seve, here he brings innovation to golf architecture. The design of its spectacular holes and open fairways, surrounded by oaks, beech and holly trees, make playing at Izki a unique experience to enjoy golfing and nature alike. Challenging for sure, enjoyable most certainly, for all levels.
The extensive experience acquired by ‘Seve’ Ballesteros in international tournaments lead him to found Trajectory in 1986. His company has designed several golf courses around the globe, from Scotland to Japan, all conceived with the same personal philosophy, from both an environmental and game-strategy point of view. Seve has made these courses beautiful and highly-demanding for the players. Always aware of the environment, native species, and natural surrounds. A good example of this is Izki Golf, founded in 1994.

Uraburu Golf: Par-71 – 18 holes @ 6,047metres. Full facilities available.
Uraburu is a stunning golf course which boasts some of the most incredible views to be found in golf anywhere in Spain. Great credit to one our local legends as Olazábals design is wonderfully carved into the mountains and overlooks the proud city of Bilbao, just 20 minutes away from the centre. Hold your breath as the course itself is a real challenge with the rolling undulating tierra. Unforgiving on most fairways, left to right or vice-versa, not many flat areas exist.
However played with caution and taking our professional tour managers advice on round day, for sure you will have fun playing Uraburu. Challenge the course at your will, and imagine playing alongside Olazábal in his prime. As this is the level you will have to achieve to make par! Not forgetting the wonderful city of Bilbao awaits you in the evening to ease your pain or celebrate your triumph!

CLUB DE GOLF LARRABEA - JON RAHMS BOYHOOD COURSE.
Club de Golf Larrabea: Par-72 – 18 holes @ 5,934 metres. Full facilities available.
Larrabea Golf Course is located in a privileged enclave in the province of Alava. It is situated on the grounds of a farm and are protected from the north winds by Mount Albertia. Golfers may enjoy beautiful views of the nearby marshes of Ullibarri and Urrunaga. The course consists of 18 holes and is nestled perfectly in its natural surroundings.
Larrabea is just a 15 minute transfer from Vitoria. Here awaits an incredible 18 holes of play. Set amongst pine and oak tree fairways, some par3’s here are world class. Jon Rahm grew-up honing his golf skills here from a very young age. At Larrabea he was encouraged by his father alongside his brother Eriz, also a professional golfer. Larrabea promotes grassroots golf with Jon Rahm being a prime example of the quality this course can create & also offer golfers of all levels a truly wonderful day of golf. All finished in the welcoming 19th hole club house and enjoy a beer whilst admiring the memorabilia in Jon Rahm corner.
